Goffstown House of Pizza: The Newest Restaurant in the Village

23 Main Street in Goffstown has seen its share of pizza restaurants over the past few years: Vikster’s, Ray Street Pizza, Weeks Pizza, and now the newest and current iteration is Goffstown House of Pizza. They opened in late August of 2025 and I stopped in to pick up a takeout lunch to check out their offerings.

For our takeout lunch, we ordered:

  • Pepperoni Pizza (large)
  • Italian sub with mayo, lettuce and tomato (large)
  • Chicken Bacon Ranch with lettuce, tomato, and mayo (large)
  • Onion rings

The Italian was just ok for me. I like that you can customize it, because I like lettuce and mayo on my Italian. I fully recognize that makes me some kind of weirdo, but I accept that because I am not Italian in the least. Like 0%. I also liked the soft sub roll that it was made with. I think the way the meats are arranged made it seem a bit chewy. Instead of folding and layering the meat slices, they just laid them all out flat in the bottom of the roll. I think with a little finesse in the construction of the sub, this could be really good. Like I mentioned, the bread is really nice so that could be key.

The Chicken Bacon Ranch sub…… I wanted to like it! It is frankly a hot mess in the way they’re currently making it. I’m hoping that they improve the construction of it a bit. It has a the same nice soft sub roll as the Italian, and it’s layered in the bottom with not-so-crispy bacon, some nice thick chicken tenders, and I think there may have been some American cheese. I only got a couple of tastes of it but it was super creamy and delicious. More, please! Then, it was topped with my choice of lettuce and tomato. But I wish the lettuce was more finely shredded and that the tomatoes were diced. Those thick tomato slices just don’t fit well in a sub roll and keep popping out. I did not actually notice any ranch in it. My son didn’t either. Maybe it all soaked in, because it was kinda soggy by the time I got it home. I love chicken bacon ranch anything, but this sub was just a big mess and didn’t do it for me.

The pizza looked amazing! I was really not expecting soooo much pepperoni. The whole pizza looked beautifully cooked and the crust was thick and golden. I’m not really a pizza connoisseur (like I said, I’m not Italian) so I can’t tell you the specifics of what was right or wrong with it, but I liked it.

The onion rings were great! Typically this is not something that ever does well with takeout, after being placed into a box and driving any sort of distance. But these held up well! They were golden, crispy, and flavorful after a little sprinkling of salt.

Welcome to Goffstown Village! It’s always exciting to have something new in Goffstown, which doesn’t happen very often. I hope they do well!

I heard that I'm going to get to make some charcuterie boards and platters this coming week. Exciting! I was hired as a cheesemonger although my role has devolved into just being a cashier, so I don't get to do it much. It will be really nice to do some of the work I applied to do!
Our wonderful staff make food, we shoot food, sell food..... all day, every day. I definitely have the easy part in all of this.
