Fall Comfort Food at the Black Forest Cafe

There are some exciting new things happening to the menu at The Black Forest Cafe for Fall 2016! I recently had the pleasure of photographing updated seasonal menu offerings which include fried chicken sliders, lettuce wraps, maple pumpkin pancakes, and crab mac and cheese. These images help the restaurant round out their social media feed, and provide updated photos for their website.

As always, these menu shoots are quick and easy and I was done in about 1 hour’s time. We utilize the natural light in their dining room in the morning before the restaurant is open. Chef Bruce brings out a selection of their new menu items that they wish to promote, and I shoot these beauties in a variety of angles and styles to give them lots of choice for their website, social media, and email newsletters.

Please contact me if your restaurant, cafe, or shop needs some updated professional photos for your marketing!

Who can resist a couple of fried chicken sliders for lunch or dinner?

The Black Forest Cafe offers a number of freshly baked pastries in their Marketplace, which makes it easy to grab a coffee and breakfast to go. These new kolaches are a perfect breakfast on the run, and they come in bacon and spinach & feta.

In preparation for the upcoming holiday party season, the BFC is offering beautiful cheese and cracker platters. Leave the cheese selections to the professionals!

Food Styling

Lastly, I took home the beautiful pear tart to photograph in my home studio. That way I could take my time with the styling and make sure everything was perfect. Pretty easy to do with such a gorgeous dessert to shoot!

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

Was the Bang-Bang Shrimp the highlight of our meal at @themillerstavernmanchester? It's so hard to say because everything was so enjoyable. However, my hubby and I have been on a bang bang shrimp kick lately so this really hit the spot for us. Next time I'll have to try the bang bang tacos.
The smash burger at @themillerstavernmanchester was absolutely delicious. My husband does not normally do this, but he insisted I try a bite of it, and I agreed-this one is awesome!

I love the natural light in the restaurant and the warm tavern tones. Perfect for photos!

Had a lovely dinner last night at @themillerstavernmanchester on Elm St. This is their Panko Crusted Chicken with a parmesan cream sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes. There is beautiful natural light in this restaurant from their amazing windows in the historic building at 1087 Elm St.
