Venice: Wine & Cicchetti Tour

For my last night in Venice, I treated myself to a Wine & Cicchetti Tour with Urban Adventures (hint: book via TripAdvisor/Viator rather than through their website and save $20 euros).

It was a beautiful way to end and recap my week in Venice, and at the end I was the only one who didn’t need assistance with directions back to my hotel. After having been there for a week, I was pretty familiar with the maze of streets and canals in the San Polo area. I even gave away my map to another couple from Buffalo, who was walking all the way back to the train station. It felt pretty awesome to head out of there like a boss, passing all the restaurants and sights I’d been enjoying all week. Sad to know it was my last look at the Grand Canal at night.  I happened to look down a little street and saw the yellow sign of the restaurant we’d had our farewell dinner at the night before, and quickly ducked down to grab the shot. We’d missed it the previous night because when we came out, they’d already turned it off. So I was glad to snag that one last souvenir photo.

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

Was the Bang-Bang Shrimp the highlight of our meal at @themillerstavernmanchester? It's so hard to say because everything was so enjoyable. However, my hubby and I have been on a bang bang shrimp kick lately so this really hit the spot for us. Next time I'll have to try the bang bang tacos.
The smash burger at @themillerstavernmanchester was absolutely delicious. My husband does not normally do this, but he insisted I try a bite of it, and I agreed-this one is awesome!

I love the natural light in the restaurant and the warm tavern tones. Perfect for photos!

Had a lovely dinner last night at @themillerstavernmanchester on Elm St. This is their Panko Crusted Chicken with a parmesan cream sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes. There is beautiful natural light in this restaurant from their amazing windows in the historic building at 1087 Elm St.
