The Miller’s Tavern at 1087 Elm Street in Manchester opened at the beginning of 2026, and it has been on my list of restaurants to try. Dave and I made it there on a quiet Thursday afternoon and had a very enjoyable early dinner! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. There are massive windows letting in gorgeous natural light, chandeliers, and historic architectural details.

A Creamy, Spicy Appetizer
We’ve been on a Bang Bang shrimp kick lately, and The Miller’s Tavern has it on the appetizer menu. This generous portion of large breaded and fried shrimp, thoroughly coated in spicy and creamy bang bang sauce, is absolutely delicious. Along with a spicy margarita, it was just the right kick to start things off.

I heard that their buffalo chicken dip is also one of their best appetizers, and I would love to try that next time, but how could I deviate from the bang bang shrimp? I actually love it so much that I’d probably also get their bang bang tacos.
Enjoyable Entrees
Dave ordered the Smash Burger, and it was not only a good looking burger, it was delicious. The smash burger comes with one patty, but you can add on a second one. It also comes with carmelized onions, red onions, pickles, lettuce, and tavern sauce. The tavern sauce added a little something extra that was so yummy. Including two kinds of onions on the burger was surprising but actually very delicious.

My entree was the Panko Chicken: chicken breast crusted in panko and pan seared, and topped with parmesan cream sauce. It was served with mashed potatoes, and green beans. Quite a presentation! The vegetables are seasonal and may change depending on what is available.

We really enjoyed our dinner at The Miller’s Tavern, and would like to go back sometime. I’m still thinking about that Bang Bang shrimp!
