So I found out today that Queen City Cupcakes has a new cookie sandwich: peanut butter. Oh my heck! I saw the update on Facebook, so Parker and I hit the road and braved the 5 degree weather cuz momma really needed to check this out. 🙂

One thing you’ll always see on the table at a NC barbecue spot is a bottle of @texaspetesauces. If you don’t know, this is not a product from Texas but a North Carolina product. My whole life, I have never really seen anybody put anything on their bbq other than Texas Pete.
Fun fact about me: in the 4th grade in Kernersville NC we had a guy from the Texas Pete family come to speak to my 4th grade class. This would have been 1987 or 88. Must have been great marketing, because I never forgot it.

Yesterday was my 47th birthday and also our 21st wedding anniversary so we went out to eat! We tried @stashboxnh on Elm St and it was fantastic. Religion & Politics is the name of the cocktail and it has mezcal, so you know I’m a fan. Great place and we both agreed we’ll be back!
