Thanksgiving at the Black Forest Cafe

The good folks at the Black Forest Cafe in Amherst have been busy lately with a new seasonal menu change, and finalizing the details of their Thanksgiving takeout menu. Would you say this is an abundant and delicious feast for the eyes, literally and figuratively?  These are just some of the items you can call ahead and reserve for your own holiday spread. As always, it’s a pleasure to work with them. I can never wait to see what they’re going to come up with next.

Here’s a beautiful turkey dinner with all the traditional side dishes, a heaping quintessential apple pie, and of course some local La Belle wine to top off the celebration. Happy Thanksgiving!

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken...... it was like 93 degrees and yet I could not resist this hot dish even though we were eating outside. Wouldn't it be smarter to just get a friggin salad? No. Call me crazy I guess. I've enjoyed this dish at @putnamswaterviewrestaurant for 20+ years now, always so good, and made to order with cream and romano cheese. The cheesy garlic bread slices just hit the spot!

The handcut onion rings at @putnamswaterviewrestaurant have always been epic. Lightly breaded and piled high, these will feed your whole group.
@putnamswaterviewrestaurant is hometown goodness for those of us who live in Goffstown. We stopped in to say hi to our son at work, and enjoyed a lovely dinner yesterday on the beautiful patio. Husband got one of their daily specials: Cape Neddick Lobster roll. Fresh Maine lobster in a grilled brioche roll, served with their yummy fries. 🦞
