Food Photos Featured on Tucker’s Website

Tucker’s recently launched their brand new overhauled website and it looks fantastic. Back in the summer, I had the privilege of photographing nearly their entire menu over a two day shoot that resulted in a huge number of food photos for them. I’m so proud to see my food photos all over their website and menu pages. They did such a wonderful and effective job, and it’s just absolutely beautiful.

I love that the branding is just SO Tucker’s…… from the orange and green color of the plates, to the way the food is plated and presented, and even the natural light used for the photos just looks so distinctively like Tucker’s. And that is what is so effectively unique about hiring a photographer to shoot menu items in your own environment! A restaurant would never get this result by using stock photos.

What greets their webpage visitors is just page after page of gorgeous food and beverage menu items. It’s no secret that people eat with their eyes first. These delicious looking photos will no doubt compel new and returning customers to eat at their restaurants!

Additionally, they used the photos from our shoot to fill in their Toast Tab online ordering menu! People love to see a photo of what they’re ordering, and I love how full and complete the online menu looks.

Thanks so much to Tucker’s for hiring me to bring these website photo ideas to life! It was such a pleasure to work with them, and they are so friendly and welcoming to work with.

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

One thing you’ll always see on the table at a NC barbecue spot is a bottle of @texaspetesauces. If you don’t know, this is not a product from Texas but a North Carolina product. My whole life, I have never really seen anybody put anything on their bbq other than Texas Pete.

Fun fact about me: in the 4th grade in Kernersville NC we had a guy from the Texas Pete family come to speak to my 4th grade class. This would have been 1987 or 88. Must have been great marketing, because I never forgot it.

Lexington Barbecue is not even on IG as far as I can find but they are world famous and I’m glad I got to stop by last week. Shown here: Chopped bbq plate with red slaw, fries, and hushpuppies. #ncbbq #lexingtonbbq #texaspete #bbq #barbecue
