Mexican food is my absolute favorite, and so I try every Mexican place I can possibly get to. One that I always return to is Puerto Vallarta on 2nd Street in Manchester NH. Housed in a very modest looking plaza which is not visible from the road, it might be very easy to drive right past it and not know it’s there. But rest assured, it is very popular so word has definitely gotten around. Walking in you are immediately greeted by Mexican music and fantastic décor filled with bright colors and textures. The tables have painted tabletops, and the chair backs are all carved and painted with brightly colored traditional Mexican scenes. The booths are also carved and painted in a similar fashion. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and festive.
The food and margaritas are also amazing, which is why I keep going back. As many times as I’ve been there, I’ve never gotten the same thing twice and while there are many things that I want to repeat, I just want to try as much as I can each time.
Lunch Specials:
The lunch specials are wonderful values with almost all the options being under $10, but honestly, it doesn’t matter what time of day you go. Just GO.
