New Fall Photos for the Black Forest Cafe

September is a delicious month at The Black Forest Cafe, when they roll out their new fall menu. Specializing in local seasonal dishes, they bring out the tastes of each season with comforting flavors. I enjoyed photographing their new treats in a warm, rustic style, full of wood and autumn accents like apples and pumpkins. Rich colors and textures make the food look amazing and inviting.  Some shots we did on location at the restaurant, while others I did here at my home “studio.”

Starting off with a treat perfect for back to school–caramel apple cupcakes!

And how amazing do these pumpkin donuts look? Perfect with a cup of coffee on a crisp autumn morning.

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

Was the Bang-Bang Shrimp the highlight of our meal at @themillerstavernmanchester? It's so hard to say because everything was so enjoyable. However, my hubby and I have been on a bang bang shrimp kick lately so this really hit the spot for us. Next time I'll have to try the bang bang tacos.
The smash burger at @themillerstavernmanchester was absolutely delicious. My husband does not normally do this, but he insisted I try a bite of it, and I agreed-this one is awesome!

I love the natural light in the restaurant and the warm tavern tones. Perfect for photos!

Had a lovely dinner last night at @themillerstavernmanchester on Elm St. This is their Panko Crusted Chicken with a parmesan cream sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes. There is beautiful natural light in this restaurant from their amazing windows in the historic building at 1087 Elm St.
