I was sure to grab a copy of this week’s Hippo because it has the map for this year’s Taco Tour! Can’t wait for the big day, although I’m keeping an eye to the sky because of the forecast for rain. BOO. HISS.

In addition, I was pleasantly surprised to see some of my photos in there!  Some of the taco photos from 2012 (when I covered the event for the Hippo) were featured in an article “Tacos Galore.”   Photo credit goes to…….. “staff photo.”  BOO.

And then a couple of pages over, I found this photo of chef Michael Buckley that I shot a few weeks ago. You’ll see more photos from that shoot coming out in a future issue!

Crab Bruleè at @thestagerestaurant603 in Keene is such a fun appetizer. You crack the hard layer of caramelized sugar on the top, and then scoop up the crab Rangoon dip with the wonton crisps. It’s not too filling, so it’s a great way to start your dinner.

The Grotto at @thestagerestaurant603 …….. such a lovely dining area just off the sidewalk, down a narrow alley. This is an incredible hidden gem in the heart of Keene.

I highly recommend you enjoy a great meal here while the weather is still perfect.
