Lexies Joint | Portsmouth, NH

I’ve been hearing a lot about Lexie’s Place, which is a tiny little hipster burger place in Portsmouth, in an old auto body shop, or something like it. They have fun and inventive burgers loaded with chipotle-this, sriracha-that, avocado, bacon, goat cheese…… etc etc. Basically all my favorite things!   You can check out their menu online, but there is way more on their actual menu at the restaurant. The daily specials are also completely ridiculous (and I mean that in an AMAZING way. Like ridiculously good and I wish I could order them all!)  They even have daily milkshake concoction flavors.

Wild Things

I died and went to heaven with Bacon, Sriracha Aioli, Muenster Cheese, Tomato, Avocado. The potato bun was perfect for soaking up the juices.

The Fun-Guy

Crispy Onion Rings,  Blue Cheese, Mushrooms, and Horseradish Sauce. This one was a little more difficult to eat with the stack of amazing rings on it, but it was delicious. The horseradish sauce was fantastic.

I absolutely have to go back here and try other burgers and fries. Even my kids said it was the best lunch they ever had, and thoroughly enjoyed their plain burgers and plain fries.

Eating and Exploring in New England & Beyond

Was the Bang-Bang Shrimp the highlight of our meal at @themillerstavernmanchester? It's so hard to say because everything was so enjoyable. However, my hubby and I have been on a bang bang shrimp kick lately so this really hit the spot for us. Next time I'll have to try the bang bang tacos.
The smash burger at @themillerstavernmanchester was absolutely delicious. My husband does not normally do this, but he insisted I try a bite of it, and I agreed-this one is awesome!

I love the natural light in the restaurant and the warm tavern tones. Perfect for photos!

Had a lovely dinner last night at @themillerstavernmanchester on Elm St. This is their Panko Crusted Chicken with a parmesan cream sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes. There is beautiful natural light in this restaurant from their amazing windows in the historic building at 1087 Elm St.
